Jessika Hane, Rotary Bloomington , Indiana, District Foundation Chair

Jessika Hane served as the District Governor for District 6580 in 2020-2021. She currently serves as her District’s Foundation Chair and is a member of the Bloomington Sunrise Rotary Club. Jessika serves as an Empowering Girls Zone 30 Ambassador and as an Emerging Rotary Leaders Facilitator for Heart of America.

In her professional life, Jessika is the Human Resources Director at Oliver Winery in Bloomington, IN, where she has worked for over 22 years. At Oliver, she is fortunate to be a member of the leadership team, working to ensure sustainable growth through effective hiring, dynamic training and strategic planning. She also loves to give tours of the facility and happily extends a personal invitation to come, visit and have a taste.

She holds two degrees from Indiana University and serves in leadership positions on the board of multiple non-profits in Bloomington, IN. She has also served as adjunct faculty at the Indiana University O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.

In 2020, She was named the Woman of the Year by the City of Bloomington, IN.

She is married to Bryan Hane (also a Rotarian) and together they are raising the next generation of Rotarians: Grace (8), Eleanor (6) and three-year old boy/girl twins, Alexander and Artemis. 

Jessika and Bryan are Major Donors to the Rotary Foundation, Bequest Society Level Four and they are members of the Paul Harris Society. They have recently established the Hane Family Endowment at the Community Foundation of Bloomington Monroe County.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking with her kids, going to the theatre and gardening. She loves to laugh, to talk in front of groups of people and to drink hot coffee!
